Cara Bella will be giving 50% from all those sessions to Duke Children’s Hospital. What a fantastic cause. So many children stuck in a hospital room for whatever the reason maybe, so we thought it wold be a great idea to give 50% to this cause to maybe help make it an easier adjustment for those who are having to stay for any given time. All children are special & its a pleasure for Cara Bella to be able to do something for these kids in our community. Don’t delay book your session today! It’s Been Interesting…

For the past week my husband & I and one of our daughters have had to stay at my In-Laws due to some repairs being made to our apartment. It’s been very interesting. First of all we were lied to about the fact that our apartment would be livable while the repairs were being done. This was so far from the truth it’s not even funny. They wanted to charge us 150 extra a month to move us to a different apartment, which I thought was completely a JOKE… Also we were charged 50.00 for me to be let into my apartment during business house because I had a key that was broke so I couldn’t use it. That was a JOKE too. I even went to the office & told them that I needed inside the apartment because the Health Department was coming out to look at the conditions they expected us to live in. Do you think that stopped them from charging?? NOPE! I found out even more interesting information on top of all this with this place.

Also my husband has been running a low grade fever for a week that over the last 3 days has been bouncing up between the low & a high one. He went to the doctor while it had been staying at a low fever & they told him he had a virus. Well a few days later he started spitting up blood, which is NOT good. So we took him back & he got to see his regular doctor. Well he was ordered to have a chest xray done & you know that really want to know something when they want you to go on a Saturday to get the xray done. (He was seen Friday) Well hubby did not do this & not we have to wait until Monday for him to get the xray done. I am not sure as to what is going on with him, but I hope that whatever it is they can fix it so that he can get better. I really hate to see my husband or my children sick. He has been a smoker since he was about 12 years old & he will be 29 this month, so it’s been quite a few yeas with this bad habit. Right now he has not smoked a cigarette since I believe Wed.. but of course he is sick right now & to nervous to do so. My concern is afte he gets better will he start up again. Gosh I really hope not. So we’ll have him get his xray done on Monday & hopefully see if we can gets some answers to his issues.

My youngest daughter started having seizures about a month ago and we are already on number 6. The doctors at this point don’t seem to know that is causing them so we had to put her on seizure meds which she will remain on for two years & they will repeat her EEG to see if that one will tell them anything. If that one does not tell them anything then we will try to take her off the meds to see how she does. We are hoping that this will be something that she will grow out of.

We just found out that there are a few people on my husbands side of the family who have seizure disorders so that was not something that made this concerned Mommy feel any better about this whole situation. I just want her to get better & not have to keep having the seizures. It’s never any fun to have to watch your child go through things like this or even to just be sick in general. She’s been a trooper thought that’s for sure.

Luckily my older daughter has not ever really had any health issues or anything like that, which we are very thankful for. She is a great helper with her little sister & they sure do love each other. It’s so fun to watch the way that they interact together. The oldest one happens to be visiting with Nana at the moment so the baby seems a little lost sometimes as to what to do with not having her sister here to play with. I think she really misses her.

I just hope that everything starts to settle down & that we can find a way to move back to NC. With all the issues we have had with the place that we live at & having been ignored and pushed to the side for so long I just don’t have much of an interest in playing games with them there anymore. I have a family to take care of. You know what I mean? Well Thanks for letting me vent. Until next time…

WOW! Where to even begin? Finding out that my husband & I were expecting our first child was amazing. I was so thrilled & I couldn’t wait until she was born. It’s one of those things in life that you love even before you REALLY experience it. I always knew that I wanted to be a Mother so finally getting to that point in my life was one one of the happiest times in my life. My second daughter was born about 19 months after m first & she was our surprise baby, but was still just as excited about the news of expecting her. Becoming a Mother is just about the most amazing feelings anyone could ever experience. Some would say at times that it might be the toughest job you’ll ever love. I wouldn’t trade being a Mom for anything in this world. It’s the best & I love it with all my heart.

I know that not everyone in life has the opportunity to experience the chance to be a Mother but for those of you that have I’m sure you can relate here.

For those who haven’t yet, but want to I really wish for you that you will get the wonderful experience of becoming a Mother.

Family makes me smile

My family always makes me smile. What can I say? I love being around them & I just wouldn’t have it any other way. I enjoy being a Wife & a Mother & wouldn’t trade it for the world :)
